Defence Cyber Certification (DCC)

Strengthen trust across the Defence supply chain

If you've been told you need a Defence Cyber Certificate — you're in the right place. We help defence suppliers and supporting organisations achieve certification efficiently, with practical guidance and genuine sector experience. We understand this environment — our team includes defence cyber specialists, active reservists, and consultants holding national security clearances.

What is DCC and why it matters

Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) was developed by IASME and the MoD to enhance the cyber resilience of the defence sector's supply chain. It provides a visible, organisation-wide badge of assurance — demonstrating your commitment to protecting data and maintaining resilient operations.

(DCC) is the MoD's new assurance framework for cyber resilience across the UK defence supply chain. It replaces per-contract cyber assessments with a single, organisation-level certification recognised across multiple MoD projects.

Achieving DCC is more than a tick-box exercise — it's a chance to demonstrate operational maturity, protect your supply chain partners, and enhance your credibility with MoD buyers.

Common challenges we see

We make the process manageable — helping you understand requirements, align controls, and confidently present your compliance.

  • • You've been told to obtain DCC but aren't sure where to start.
  • • The link between Cyber Essentials and DCC levels isn't clear.
  • • You need help mapping Defence Standard 05-138 controls to your business.
  • • You're concerned about scope — which parts of the organisation are included?
  • • You need support preparing evidence for assessment and renewal.
